- Ingredients:
- In a pan take ΒΌ cup sugar and heat on low to medium flame. - stir in between until sugar melts completely. - continue to heat on low flame until the sugar turns golden brown. Our caramelized sugar is ready.
- Pour the caramelized sugar into a cake tin or bowl and swrill slightly to coat the wall of the bowl. keep aside.
- Now take 5 bread slices, and trim off the sides. - Pulse into crumbs using a mixer jar. make sure to pulse and blend and not make a paste. keep aside.
- In a bowl, take 2 cup milk, and ΒΌ cup custard powder. - mix well until custard powder is well combined.
- Transfer the milk mixture into a kadhai, add 1/4 cup of sugar and cook on medium flame until the milk thickens.
- Now add in crumbled bread and mix well. - - Continue to cook until the mixture turns thick.
- Pour the mixture into the bowl of caramelized sugar.
- Take one pan and add 1 glass of water now, place a stand and place the cake tin on the stand. steam for 30 minutes.
- Cool completely and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Finally, unmould add enjoy caramel bread pudding.
