Instructions to make Savoury Doughnuts:
  1. In 1/2 cup of warm milk add sugar and yeast and keep for 8-10 minutes to activate.
  2. In a big mixing bowl add flour and salt, mix well.
  3. Make a hole in the centre of the flour and pour the bloomed yeast and melted butter.
  4. Mix slowly with a spatula to incorporate.
  5. Now slowly add warm water to make a soft dough.
  6. Rub some oil to the dough and cover it.
  7. Keep aside in a warm place for an hour or till dough becomes double in size.
  8. After an hour take out the dough in a work place or kitchen platform and knead well by stretching and folding method.
  9. Char all the vegetables and also garlic except pickled chilli in little oil to enhance the flavor.
  10. Add all the charred veggies, onions, garlic, cheese, chilli flakes and herbs to the dough and mix well.
  11. Take a donut mould and grease with little oil.
  12. Take a little lime size dough, make a ball and place in the mould.
  13. Alternatively you can make a log and arrange in a loaf tin to make a loaf shaped bread.
  14. Preheat oven at 200 degree Centigrade for 10 minutes.
  15. In the meantime keep aside the mould with dough for 10 minutes They will rise again a little bit.
  16. Now bake these doughnut breads for about 15 to 20 minutes or till light golden brown in colour.
  17. Remove from oven. Keep these baked doughnuts in wired rack to cool.
  18. Enjoy with tomato ketchup or just as they are.
